Dry Riesling from the famous single vineyard, Karthauserhofberg, by the village of Eitelsbach-Ruwer where the Ruwer river joins the Mosel.
Spätlese is the the lightest of the German late harvest wines, produced from slightly-late-harvested grapes and may be either sweet or dry. If “Trocken” is noted on the label you can assume it's a dry style.
